MARGARET LEE, at the age of 81 years, of Carmangay, Alberta. Born in Champion, Alberta on May 23, 1908 the late Margaret Lee was raised and educated in Champion. Margaret graduated from the Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1932. Following her graduation Margaret began working at the Carmangay Hospital. James Frederick Lee was born in Liverpool, England on August 1, 1907 where he was also raised and educated. lHe came Io Canada in 1928 and worked in various places throughout Southern British Columbia and Alberta. In the early 30's Jim settled in the Carmangay area . He worked at various occupations in Carmangay. Jim met Margaret McLeod in Carmangay and married her on July 15,1936. Jim and Margaret later moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba where Jim was employed with the City of Winnipeg. In 1944, Jim and Margaret returned to Carmangay where they purchased a farm. Margaret worked as a nurse and matron at the Carmangay Hospital. In 1961 they moved to British Columbia where they lived for three years in Victoria and Lillooet. Jim and Margaret returned to Carmangay where they have resided until the time of their passing. James and Margaret are survived by one son, Brian (Violet) Lee of Winnipeg, Manitoba; two granddaughters of Winnipeg, Manitoba; one great-grandson; and one great granddaughter. James was predeceased by one sister, Ruth. Margaret is also survived by one sister, Annie Rowat of Crossfield, Alberta ; and one brother, Charlie McLeod of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
