Description	:	James Gilkey Wallingsford, a son of Rebekah (née Clark) and James Wallingsford, was born in Ohio, possibly in Clark County, where his father was enumerated in 1820. His middle name, Gilkey, was from his paternal grandmother, the former Miss Anne Gilkey. James G. Wallingsford and Elizabeth Painter were married on 4 July 1846 in Champaign County, Ohio. (E. H.
