Wallingford and Louise Ledbetter were married on 27 October 1905 in West Liberty, Muscatine County. The groom, 28, a laborer, was born and resided in West Liberty. Wallingford and Louise Ledbetter were married on 27 October 1905 in West Liberty, Muscatine County. The groom, 28, a laborer, was born and resided in West Liberty. The bride, 24, was born in Tennessee, and resided in Missouri. The couple later moved to Atalissa, Muscatine County. Harry Wallingsford, a carpenter, was building a house near West Liberty, when he was struck by lightening and killed instantly. (Edna Marie Miller, age 11½, who was playing in the house was also killed.) His widow Louise was enumerated the following year, living alone, in Atalissa.
