Description	:	James Koon was a Sergeant in the Army Air Forces during the Second World War. Assigned to the 323rd Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group, he trained with this unit in the United States, and was one of the original aircrew contingent which shipped out to England. From November 1942 through June 1943, flying as a Waist Gunner, James Koon was credited with 24 combat missions. The 91st Bomb Group was also the Group which had the B-17 "Memphis Belle", flying in the 324th Bomb Squadron. Many of the missions that James flew on, he would have seen the...
