Ward and husband, Douglas, Dawson, Pa.; two brothers, Wade Friend, Friendsville; Huston Friend, Jr., Markleysburg, Pa.; two sisters, Judy Burd, Berlin Center, Ohio; Joann Smith, Markleysburg, Pa.; 14 grandchildren, Chad Friend, Ashleigh Friend, Aaron Friend, Cameron Friend, Blake Deal, Chelsey Ward, Carley Ward, Abigayle Friend, Hailey Friend, Samuel Friend, Lane Friend, Kassie Saville, Jacob Crock and Michael Crock and one great-grandson, Luke Friend. Friends will be received in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, June 20, 2014, at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
