He then worked... Read More	James Ronald Mott, 78 March 17, 1939 ~ January 1, 2018 James was born on March 17, 1939 in Falls City, Nebraska to Emil and Ruby (Sunleaf) Mott. He moved to Beatrice, NE as an infant until 6th grade before moving to York, NE and then back to Beatrice, attending schools in both towns. He married Joan Menke on April 12, 1957 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice. James worked for Wonderbread for a total of 28 years working in both California and Fairbury, NE. He then worked for over 16 years at the Endicott Clay Brickyard in Endicott, NE. James was a member of the Ellis United Methodist Church in Ellis, NE and enjoyed camping, gardening, yard-work, fishing and bird-watching. James R. Mott, 78 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Homestead House in Beatrice. Left with memories are daughter, Kimberly (Joe) Sullivan of Fruitland, Maryland; son, James (Ann) Mott of Cortland, NE; grandchildren: Chris Sami, Saum Sami, Sarah Sullivan, Katie (Anthony)Mancuso, Kevin Mott; great-grandchildren: Asher Carey, Oliver Mancuso, Caleb Mancuso; brother, Emil “Butch” Mott and wife Marian of Florence, Oregon; half-brother, Lyle Stevens and wife Bonnie of Beatrice; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joan; brother, Jay Mott; and half-brother, Jerry May. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, January 5, 2018 at Ellis United Methodist Church in Ellis with Pastor Hollis Patterson officiating. Interment will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery near Diller, NE. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 PM Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice, NE. Memorials are suggested to the church.
