A private memorial service will take place at a later date at Oakridge Cemetery in Buchanan. Jan was born on February 10, 1950, in Niles to Robert and Dorothy (Richter) Bachman. On July 17, 1982, she married Larry Watson. For many years, Jan worked at the Niles Police Department as a secretary. Jan loved watching old movies and always had on Turner Classic Movies. her greatest passion in life was her family; Jan loved her children, grandchildren and cat, Bobby, more than anything. She was a wonderful person, a friend to all, and will be missed dearly. Jan is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Aaron (Amy) Gaul and Samuel (Andrea) Watson; grandchildren, Zachary & Evan Gaul; siblings, Abby (Gene) Holstein and Phillip Bachman; sister-in-law Gayle Bachman. Jan was preceded in death be her parents, Robert & Dorothy; brother, Glenn Bachman, and niece, Janece Wilson.
