She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on October 3, 1932, the daughter of Leonard and Nancy (Winkle) Crank. On June 19 1971, in Jellico, Tennessee, she was married to Paul E. Allen and he preceded her in death in 2001. She is survived by two sons, Steve (Linda) Timmer and Thomas Timmer, both of Hamilton; two daughters, Joyce Wells of Cincinnati and Paulette Allen of Hamilton; one brother, Jim Crank of Tampa, Florida and one sister, Roberta Gregory of Tampa, Florida; six grandchildren, Ashley Timmer, Scott Timmer, Lori (Steve) Walker, Tiffany Hamblin, Amber Boeing and Samantha Boeing and two great-grandchildren, R. J. Egbert and Noah Lacy and a long time friend of forty-eight years, Yvonne Donges of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Allen in 1991; three brothers, Garrett, Rudolph and Wally Crank and three sisters, Jacqueline Young, Betty Tincher and Jean Glover. A memorial service will be held at the Brown- Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Larry Uzen, Pastor of the Calvary Church officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 Noon to 1 P.M. A graveside service will be held in Rose Hill Burial Park immediately following the memorial service. Grandma Jane's greatest enjoyment was watching her grandchildren participate in their sporting events. In lieu of flowers, she would greatly appreciate donations in her memory to the Pfirman Family Activity Center of Badin High School, 571 New London Rd. Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
