Obituary will appear next week. * * * * * Jane's obituary was published in The Alma Record newspaper, Alma, Harlan Co., Nebraska, Friday, 8 Aug 1919, page 1, column 2: OBITUARY Jane M. Yost was born in Cedar Co., Mo., Sept. 3, 1892 and passed away very peacefully July 31, 1919. She moved to Harlan county, with her parent's at the age of 11 years, where she has since resided. She was united in marriage Nov. 3, 1917, to Sargt. Geo. W. Best of Co. C. 314, Supply Train at Manhattan, Kan. She returned to Alma and remained with her mother during his absence of 21 months and waited patiently for his return building highest hopes for the future when they might establish a home. She leaves to mourn her departure a husband, aged mother, two sisters Mrs. E.L. Stone and Mrs. R.L. Harrison, and two brothers L.M. Yost and Chas. Yost, besides other relatives and many friends. Her father, one sister and two brothers having preceded her. We wish to sincerely thank the friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us during our great sorrow, and for the beautiful floral offerings - Geo. W. Best, Mrs. A.C. Yost, Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Yost, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Stone, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Harrison, Chas. Yost.
