She has been ill more than two months and death was a happy release from a long life, and she has passed to the heavens= her strong faith in the Methodist church had taught her to believe in. She leaves several children and grandchildren to mourn her death. They are Mrs. George Mann, living near Elvira: Mrs. Charles Francis, living near Camanche; Mrs. Sam Kelly, of Elvira; Mrs. J. O. Jellison, and Mr. William Smith, the marble cutter and their children. The funeral will occur from the residence on North Second street, Monday forenoon, at 10:30, with interment in the Camanche cemetery. Clinton Weekly Age, March 18, 1892*
