She is survived by her husband; son, Paul Bauer Dickerscheid (Sherry); daughter, Ann Dickerscheid Zarzour (Peyton); grandchildren, Michael Dickerscheid (Susan), Jason Dickerscheid (Mandy), Meagan Dickerscheid, Morgan Dickerscheid, Neal Zarzour (Jessica), Barton Zarzour (Amy), Ashley Zarzour and Hannah Zarzour; along with 7 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Florence, AL and sang in the choir for many years. Janet was a devoted Christian who read her bible each morning. She thoroughly enjoyed exercising in aerobics classes, walking the neighborhood with friends and attending water exercise classes at the YMCA. She was creative and found pleasure in ceramics, sewing, and knitting. Janet gave strength to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed by all whose lives she blessed. The family would like to thank Alice Carter, Gloria Coman and Gentiva Hospice for their help and loving care. Funeral services at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Florence, AL .
