Born in Wolcott June 14, 1913, she was the daughter of George and Minnie (Irons) Dye. She graduated from Wolcott High School and attended Butler University. She was married in 1935 to James M. Puett who died February 27, 1981. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and Kappa Kappa Kappa sororites, of the Dorcas Club, of the First Presbyterian Church of Remington, and of the Hazelden Country Club. Survivors include a son, G. Thomas Puett, Decatur, Illinois and a daughter Susan (Ms. Phillip D.) Nicely of Indianapolis. Other survivors include six grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Helen Dye, of Wolcott. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Stitz Funeral home in Remington with Rev. James Rankin officiating. Interment will be at Remington Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stitz Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Remington.
