Edstrom and burial at the Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Peter Dahlin, the former Jennie (Johnson), was born Aug. 25, 1875, on the pioneer homestead in Dalesburg, of parents Ole Johnson Nydahl and his wife, Nellie (Andersdatter), who had emigrated from Norway in 1867, and came here in 1870 and filed on a government claim. She attended school in Dalesburg and was a member of the Dalesburg Lutheran church from childhood. On March 11, 1913, she married Peter Dahlin, son of a neighbor pioneer and they engaged in farming throughout the years. One daughter, Violet, Mrs. Clarence Christensen, was born to them, who with her husband survives, as does two grandchildren. Surviving are also two brothers, Andrew N. O. Johnson of Centerville, and John O. Johnson of this community. Preceding her in death were the parents, and two sisters, Anna, in 1909, and Inga, Mrs. Jonas Ledene in 1919.
