Description	:	Jennie Mae Ferguson was born on February 28, 1885, at St. Joseph, Missouri and died at Creighton, Nebr., on May 22, 1931 at the age of 46 years, 2 months and 24 days. She came to Nebraska in the spring of 1885 when only a baby going with her parents to Boyd county where her parents settled on a homestead between Lynch and Monowi. Read More	Jennie Mae Ferguson was born on February 28, 1885, at St. Joseph, Missouri and died at Creighton, Nebr., on May 22, 1931 at the age of 46 years, 2 months and 24 days. She came to Nebraska in the spring of 1885 when only a baby going with her parents to Boyd county where her parents settled on a homestead between Lynch and Monowi. They left the farm and moved to Creighton in 1901 where she has made her home continuously until the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Charles (Rolla) Noyer on July 29, 1903 and to this union 4 children were born and lived to know their mother's love. She enjoyed good health until about two years ago when she became affected with cancer. She took treatments at Savannah, Missouri, but no permanent help came. She became bedfast and for one year she laid patiently, with out murmuring and always with confidence for recovery. All that medical science and careful hands could minister was done for her. Mrs. J.N. Schneider was constantly at her bedside and for nine months faithfully dressed her wounds and cared for her physical welfare. This, however, was of no avail and shortly after Easter she began to gradually grow weaker, falling peacefully to sleep at 6 a.m. on Friday morning. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church here in Creighton and also of the Woman's Foreign Missionary Society and one of her last enjoyable afternoons was spent in entertaining the Missionary Society in her home and singing her favorite hymns. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two sons, Rollie and Harry and two daughters, Mrs. Theodore Carver and Lula Mae, all of Creighton. One sister, Mrs. Amy (Michael) Mickelson of Orchard, Nebr. and two grandchildren. Mrs. Noyer died on the same day of the same month, as her father, who passed on about fifteen years ago. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon by her pastor, Rev. Wm. E. Wilson and burial was made in the family lot in Rose Hill cemetery. Friends unite in extending condolences to those who mourn. ...The Creighton News May 1931 Noyer-Ferguson Charles Noyer and Miss Jennie Ferguson, both young people of this city were united in marriage at the Methodist parsonage at 2:30 by Rev. J.J. Gortner. Only relatives of the contracting parties were present to witness the ceremony.
