Description	:	J. C. Ford Dies At 66 Jesse C. Ford, 66, 937 N. McDonel, a steward for the Eagles Lodge and a former Lima policeman, died at 10 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital. Born in Hardin County, Nov. 2, 1892, he was the son of Jacob and Angeline Gray Ford. He retired from the Lima Police Force in 1948 after 22 years service. Surviving are his wife, Cora E. Miller of 439 Franklin and Mrs. Taylor Frankhouse Jr. of 714 S. Atlantic; one brother, Howard Ford of DeLand, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Dodds of Roundhead, Mrs. Rachel Tracy of Huntsville and Mrs. Ethel Zimmerman of Groveport and 15 grandchildren. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Lima Eagles No. 370. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chiles and Son Chapel with Rev. Howard Bloom officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Eagles memorial services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. (published in The Lima News, Monday, December 8, 1958, page 1)
