Read More	Jesse Edward Wilkinson Jesse Edward Wilkinson was born to John W. and Abbie Wilkinson, May 12, 1902 in Rawlins County, Kansas, and departed this life February 12, 1969, at the age of 66 years 9 months. He was united in marriage to Esther M. Cushing, March 12, 1925. This union was blessed with 3 sons and 1 daughter. Jesse was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He spent most of his years engaged in farming until 1952, at which time he moved to Stratton, Nebr., where he had spent most of his remaining years. On July 9, 1965 Jesse was stricken with a stroke. His patience had an enduring quality through these trying years that will long be remembered by those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, 3 sisters, Florence, Gladys, and Grace, and one brother, Roy. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Esther; three sons, Calvin and wife of Stratton, Douglas and wife of Wood River, and Ellis and wife of Kearney; one daughter Twila Brynoff and husband of North Platte; 13 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ruby Brooks of Kennewick, Washington, and Opal Lyon of Fort Morgan, Colo.; three brothers, Guy of Stratton, Virgil of Victor, Colo. and Hershel of Pueblo, Colo.; and a host of relatives and friends.
