Description	:	Jesse Lee Snipes, the nineteen year old son of Mrs. Cora Snipes, died Saturday at midnight in the home of his mother, southeast of Tipton, near the Atlanta line. The young man was a victim of tuberculosis and had been in failing health for about a year. He had been at Indianapolis taking treatments for a few weeks and had been home just about a week. Read More	Jesse Lee Snipes, the nineteen year old son of Mrs. Cora Snipes, died Saturday at midnight in the home of his mother, southeast of Tipton, near the Atlanta line. The young man was a victim of tuberculosis and had been in failing health for about a year. He had been at Indianapolis taking treatments for a few weeks and had been home just about a week. He was born July 1st, 1899, and was the son of the late James E. and Cora Snipes. This makes the third death in Mrs. Snipes' family in less than a year, her husband and her mother, Mrs.. George, dying about five months apart and in less than five months, the son passed away. Left to mourn his loss are his mother, one sister, Mrs. Gilbert Meeks, and two brothers, Roy and Omer, at home, besides a very large circle of friends who had known and loved him. Funeral services will be held at the New Hope church south of Tipton on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, and will be conducted by Rev. G.D. Foster. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery.
