Description	:	Jessie LeRoy Keith of Nelson, 45, died Monday afternoon at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings from internal injuries suffered in a car crash early that morning on Highway 74 five miles west of Fairfield. He was along and returning home at the time of the accident. He was conscious and told the investigating Safety Patrolman that he had been blinded by approaching car lights before the car went out of control and crashed into a deep field drive embankment. He was born May 8, 1917 at Miller, Nebr., the son of Charles and Lillie Keith, and came as a small child to this county where he spent the remainder of his life. He attended school in Nelson and was a member of the Nelson Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his brothers, James and Kenneth of Nora, and Charles of Fremont, and sisters, Mrs. Wilma Merrill of Rawlins, Wyo., Mrs. Grace Thomsen of Superior, and Mrs. Leona Olsen of Wyandotte, Mich. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Oct. 25, in the Klawitter Chapel at Nelson, the Rev. Ivan L. Belden officiating. Burial was made in the Nelson cemetery (sic).
