Born in Chelsea, August 15, 1900, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Lydia (MacKay) Heim. She is survived by three sisters, Vina (Mrs. Harold Hopper), Toledo, Ohio; Antionette (Mrs. Stuart Meisner), Stanley Section; Mabel (Mrs. Walter Henley), Bridgewater; four brothers, Maurice, Bernal, and Orace, all of Chelsea; and Anzel, New Elm. Born in Chelsea, August 15, 1900, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Lydia (MacKay) Heim. She is survived by three sisters, Vina (Mrs. Harold Hopper), Toledo, Ohio; Antionette (Mrs. Stuart Meisner), Stanley Section; Mabel (Mrs. Walter Henley), Bridgewater; four brothers, Maurice, Bernal, and Orace, all of Chelsea; and Anzel, New Elm. She was predeceased by four brothers, Zola, Willis, Arnold, and James. She worked in the town office, Bridgewater for five years, before entering nurses training at the Exeter Hospital, New Hampshire. After graduation she worked several years as a school nurse at Keene Teachers College. Later she worked at a nursing home in Halifax, returning to the Exeter Hospital where she worked for 25 years until her retirement in 1965. Later that same year she moved to Bridgewater where she resided until her death. She will be lovingly remembered for all the kindnesses she has shown to all her family and friends during her entire lifetime. Her stirling character and generosity endeared her to the hearts of all who knew her. She was a member of the Chelsea United Baptist Church, and retained her membership and interest while living in the United States and Bridgewater. Her funeral service was held from the Chelsea United Baptist Church with Pastor Douglas Crouse officiating. Hymns sung were "The Lord's My Shepherd" and "Unto The Hills." Pallbearers were George, Mervyn, Irving, and Richard Henley, Russell Mailman, and Clyde Uhlman. Interment was in the family plot in the Maple Grove Cemetery. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
