Description	:	Mrs. Jessie Terry Mrs. Jessie Terry, 101, died Monday, Sept. 8, at Pocahontas Community Hospital. Funeral services will be today, Thursday, Sept. 11, in the United Methodist Church with burial in Summit Hill Cemetery. Casketbearers are Don and Mike Terry, Keith Zach and Daniel, John and James Weatherwax. Surviving are sons Robert, Pocahontas; Byron, Van Nuys, Calif.; Harold, Oceanside, Calif.; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and sister, Mrs. Harry (Ruth) Creager, Phoenix, Ariz. Jessie Verner was born Feb. 22, 1879, at Meriden, and attended school at Meriden and also at Delmont, S. D. At the age of 11, she and her brother homesteaded on a farm near Delmond. She married William Terry in 1903 in Lake Andes, S. D., and in 1907, they moved to Pocahontas. Mr. Terry died in 1916. Mrs. Terry entered Pocahontas Manor in 1976.
