Mrs. Redmond was born March 23, 1925 in Union County to Leonard and Loretta (Boden) Lamoureux. She graduated from Akron High School in 1943. She worked at the Akron Savings Bank until she married O.W. Bengston and they made their home in Sioux City from 1948 to 1958. She was employed at Seffs Ins. until moving to Denver in 1958. She was employed with Moore Realty in Arvada, CO until retiring in 1993. Mrs. Redmond was a member of the Senior Club at St. Joan of Arc Church in Arvada, a volunteer for several years at the Arvada Center for Performing Arts and was involved in several charities. Her hobbies were bridge and bowling. Survivors include her husband, Matt; two daughters and their husbands, Michelene and Steve Svanda of Castle Rock, CO and Deborah and Michael DeSantis of Arvada, CO; five grandchildren, Kyle, Kelly and Alisha Svanda and Devin and Dena DeSantis; two brothers and their wives, Ted and Jenny Lamoureux of Sioux City and Jack and Rita Lamoureux of FL and MN; two sisters and their husbands, Barbara and Richard Coyle of Akron and Polly and Roy Porter of South Sioux City.
