Joann graduated from Kingsley High School in the class of 1956. She married Eugene O. Morton in Elk Point, South Dakota in 1956. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time with her family and painting crafts which she turned into a small business Joann’s Plaster Crafts, which was located in the Morningside area. Joann is survived by two sons; Dan Morton and his wife Melody, Bill Morton, daughter Jean Ann Fink. Six grandchildren: Michael, Shane, Stacey, Derek, Kaylee, Jacob and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one son-in-law Robert Fink
