Frederick H. Kehren, will officiate. Interment will be made at the cemetery adjoining the church. Mr. Zimmerman, a son of Wilke and Eliza Hayen Zimmerman, was born October 8, 1872, in Wayne township. He attended the rural schools near his home, and thereafter followed the vocation of a farmer. He was married to Anna M. Helgens, June 7, 1900, by Rev. C. Mardorf. Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman became the parents of six children: Eliza (Mrs. Boyd Shannon), Herman Zimmerman, Clara (Mrs. John Rieken), Emil Zimmerman and Lester Zimmerman, Monticello, and Lorene (Mrs. Dean McDonald) of Center Junction. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, his widow, and a brother and three sisters, viz: Mrs. Harm Helgens, Monticello; Mrs. Will Siebels and Mrs. Mary Toenjes, Anamosa, and Will Zimmerman, Anamosa. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church.
