Description	:	Johanna was the daughter of Lambert & Mary Kniest. She married Joseph Drees. They were the parents of Clara, Joseph, John, Lambert, Andrew, Agnes, Leo, Mary, & Frank. April 11, 1895 - Word was received this afternoon announcing the death of Mrs. J. M. Drees. The message stated that she died suddenly this morning. This was a sad surprise to her friends and relatives here, for it was generally understood that she was fast regaining her health and would in a short time be restored to good health. They were the parents of Clara, Joseph, John, Lambert, Andrew, Agnes, Leo, Mary, & Frank. April 11, 1895 - Word was received this afternoon announcing the death of Mrs. J. M. Drees. The message stated that she died suddenly this morning. This was a sad surprise to her friends and relatives here, for it was generally understood that she was fast regaining her health and would in a short time be restored to good health. The death of Mrs. Drees is especially sad, leaving a large family of small children, the youngest being but two months old. The deceased was one of the best known women in our city, having lived here over twenty years. She was such a pleasant turn of mind that she made friends of all who came within her influence. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Kniest and leaves a mother, four brothers: Joseph, John, Frank and Bert; and five sisters: Mrs. J. A. Rohner, Mrs. Geo. Hoeb, Mrs. Ed Adams, Mrs. J. W. Kennebeck, and Mies Josie Kniest; a loving husband and eight children to deeply mourn her loss. The funeral will be held Sunday morning in Denver. Mrs. Mary Schapmann, a sister of Mr. Drees, and Mrs. J. A. Rohner, a sister of the deceased, leave in the morning for Denver.
