Description	:	On Tuesday morning, August 31st, at the home of her son, O.A. Tolsby south of Barton, occurred the death of one of Pierce county's pioneer ladies, after an illness extending over two years, during most of which time she was confined to her bed. Read More	On Tuesday morning, August 31st, at the home of her son, O.A. Tolsby south of Barton, occurred the death of one of Pierce county's pioneer ladies, after an illness extending over two years, during most of which time she was confined to her bed. Her demise was due to the infirmities of age, and the end came peacefully. Mrs. Tolsby was born in Norway, married there, and came to the United States forty-four years ago, coming to Pierce county with her husband forty years ago, which made her one of the real pioneer women of Pierce county, which has been her home for so many years. Her husband preceded her to the Great Beyond ten years ago. Five children of this union are living, as follows: Mrs. M.J. Nash, Mrs. L. Larson, Mrs. Anna Isaacson, and two sons, Anton and Ole. Mrs. Tolsby all her life was a good, old-fashioned Christian woman who not only believed but practised that great doctrine of the Golden Rule, and her life was spent performing those wifely and motherly duties to her husband and family toiling early and late for their comfort and welfare. Thus another good, upright citizen has gone to her reward, and the community in which she lived, while it will miss her, is richer in many ways for her having lived there among them. The Tribune joins the many friends of the family in extending sincere sympathy to them in the loss of their beloved mother.
