Private family services will be held at the Valley View Cemetery in Genoa. John was born October 15, 1929, in Silver Creek, Nebraska, to Albert and Hazel (White) Jacobi. John was employed throughout the years in the Genoa and Columbus area. They lived in Genoa where John farmed and later drove the Genoa School bus for 26 years. He was a member of the Genoa Methodist Church. John enjoyed being outdoors, going hunting, woodcarving, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
