Description	:	Peggy Jane Mangelsen, 77, of Central City died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln. Peggy was born Dec. 17, 1933, in Merrick County to Albert G. and Hazel L. (White) Jacobi. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Lisle F. Mangelsen, and an infant daughter, Jolene Rachel Mangelsen, in 1959. Survivors are: brother and sister-in-law, John and L'Nora Jacobi from Genoa; sisters-in-law, Diane Jacobi of Omaha and Ann Jacobi of Kan; special friend, Lorraine Dexter; and a host of relatives and friends. Peggy was born Dec. 17, 1933, in Merrick County to Albert G. and Hazel L. (White) Jacobi. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Lisle F. Mangelsen, and an infant daughter, Jolene Rachel Mangelsen, in 1959. Survivors are: brother and sister-in-law, John and L'Nora Jacobi from Genoa; sisters-in-law, Diane Jacobi of Omaha and Ann Jacobi of Kan; special friend, Lorraine Dexter; and a host of relatives and friends. Peggy grew up and received her education in Merrick County. As a young girl, Peggy worked for local families and later she worked in a restaurant in Central City. On Oct. 21, 1964, Peggy J. Jacobi and Lisle F. Mangelsen were united in marriage in Blair. They made their home in Central City. Lisle died on January 30, 2010. Peggy had been living at Central City Care Center. Peggy enjoyed playing bingo, making crafts, and helping with chores at the Central City Care Center.
