He was born May 9, 1926 in Braxton, County and was the son of the late George Dewey and Flossie Whisman Clowser. Boyd was a retired farmer, contractor, and well tender. He was born May 9, 1926 in Braxton, County and was the son of the late George Dewey and Flossie Whisman Clowser. Boyd was a retired farmer, contractor, and well tender. He was a Navy Vet of WWII in the Pacific theater, and a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church. On August 10, 1946, he was united in marriage to Iva Nell Smith, who survives at their Cedar Creek home. Surviving are three sons and one daughter: Bobby Clowser and wife, Dolores of LaGrange, OH; Jimmie Clowser and wife, Irene of Cedarville; Johnny Clowser of Salem, and Judy Clowser of Anderson, SC. Eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Clowser is the last of his immediate family being preceded in death by: two brothers, and one sister: Wallace Clowser, Kenneth Clowser, and Eunice Clowser. Funeral services were held on March 10, 2007 at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., with Elder Mark Minney officiating. Burial followed in the Clowser Cemetery on Level Road.
