News of the death of this respected gentlemen was received with deep regret on Tuesday. He formerly lived near Doe Hill, moving to Augusta less than two years ago. Read More	Highland Recorder July 25, 1913 Brought to Highland For Burial The body of John Burner Wilson was brought to Doe Hill for burial on Wednesday. News of the death of this respected gentlemen was received with deep regret on Tuesday. He formerly lived near Doe Hill, moving to Augusta less than two years ago. About two months ago he paid a visit to his daughters living in the county, and was not well at that time. We have heard no particulars as to his sickness, and, in the absence of proper information as to his life and family, will look for such notice as our Doe Hill correspondent may be able to give. Mr. Wilson was recognized as one of the most substantial and worthy citizens of the county and during his long residence in the eastern part enjoyed the confidence of all. He was the father of a large family of children, of whom Mesdames Jonas Hevener, Henry Propst and Hubert Smith were three. Most of the others live in the West. Morton's History of Highland list his parents as Charles W. Wilson who married Margaret Hiner in 1846.
