Description	:	Highland Recorder January 10, 1908 The oldest resident of our community, Mrs Margaret Wilson, passed quietly away on the evening of the 21st, after an illness of several months; but prior to her last illness she was very active for one of her age. She was born Sept 19 1813, consequently had reached the ripe age of 94 years, 3 months and 2 days. She had been a consistent member of the Brethren church for a number of years and a member of the Home Department of the Doe Hill S.S. and we venture the assertion that she was the oldest... Read More	Highland Recorder January 10, 1908 The oldest resident of our community, Mrs Margaret Wilson, passed quietly away on the evening of the 21st, after an illness of several months; but prior to her last illness she was very active for one of her age. She was born Sept 19 1813, consequently had reached the ripe age of 94 years, 3 months and 2 days. She had been a consistent member of the Brethren church for a number of years and a member of the Home Department of the Doe Hill S.S. and we venture the assertion that she was the oldest Sunday School scholar in the State. She was the mother of four children, Mrs Clarissa Taylor of Greenbank, W.Va., Mrs. Geo Taylor deceased, Mr. J.B. Wilson, who reside near here, and with whom she made her home and Willie who died when quite Young. She longed to go home and be at rest. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church by Rev. Josiah Beverage, assisted by Rev. H.M. Roane, after which her body was laid to rest in the cemetery beside of her husband, Wesley Wilson, who preceded in death a number of years ago. Sister to Sally Hiner
