Read More	LAWRENCE, John Edgar - 57, Clarence, Annapolis Co., passed away January 11, 2005, surrounded by his family, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, after a six year fight with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was born in Middleton, Annapolis Co. John was a heavy duty mechanic with the D.O.T. from 1965 to 1979 in Halifax and Middleton. He was a former member of the Nictaux and District Fire Department, a past director and president of Beaver Fruit Co-op, Lawrencetown, a former Paradise Edenvale 4-H leader and tug of war coach. He moved home after buying the family dairy farm "TreeLine Farm" in 1979, where he enjoyed the hard and rewarding labor that came with the farm. He served on various agricultural committees including the Dairy Management Club. He was the son of Mable (Mailman), Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, and the late Wilfred Ernest Lawrence (Clarence). He is survived by his wonderful wife, Janice (Rafuse), Clarence; his son, John Ray and daughter-in-law, Jennifer C. (Francis) and the bright spot of his life granddaughter, Lillian Janine; his daughter, Jennifer M., Clarence; all who he dearly loved; sister, Frances (Paul) Deveau, Hilden; niece, Tara (Deveau) and her husband Glen Hollingsworth; nephew, Kirk (Tara) Deveau; two great-nieces; one great-nephew. He was predeceased by great-niece, Tracy Deveau. He loved being a farmer, his John Deere equipment, family, friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held today and Friday evening 7-9 p.m. in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in Gordon Providence United Church, Bridgetown, Rev. Judith Perry officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. A reception will follow in Bridgetown Legion. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the local fire departments or a charity of your choice.
