Description	:	John Emory Field was a son of Rev. Benton Field (1797-1871) and his second wife Martha F. Guerrant (1803-1856). After his mother's death, his father married Lucy Christmas Hopper (1821-1893), the widow of Joseph Lane in 1856. On 1 April 1858, John married Mary Susan Lane (1843-1859, daughter of Joseph Lane & Lucy Hopper). She died the next year and is buried at the Lane Family Cemetery. I do not believe there were any children of this marriage. On 23 March 1862, John married Josephine Jones (born c. 1843) who was originally from Virginia. I believe Thomas W. Field (c.1864)...
