Description	:	Death of John Ficke John Ficke, a pioneer resident of this county, died at his home in this city on last Sunday, aged 84 years. He homesteaded near Milford over fifty years ago. He was injured in the tornado at Seward seven year ago, a broken rib having penetrated one of his lunges, from which injury he never recovered. He leaves his wife, five sons and one daughter, John and Frank of Milford; Herman, Christ and Henry of Pleasant Dale, and Mrs. Paul Herpolsheimer of Seward. He leaves twenty-nine grandchildren, and two great-grand children. His funeral will be held from the St. John's Lutheran church on Thursday afternoon having been postponed until that time on account of his son Frank meeting with an accident which confines him the the Milford Hospital.
