Description	:	Son of John Weisert and Rosina "Rosa" Shaw Schach Progress Review – September 15, 1932 John Weisert, aged 65 years, died at his home in Mt. Auburn Monday at four o'clock pm after an illness of more that a year, death being due to a complication of diseases. The deceased had lived in Benton county for more than fifty years, having came here from Schuylkill county, Pa., where he was born Aug. 28, 1867. The deceased had lived in Benton county for more than fifty years, having came here from Schuylkill county, Pa., where he was born Aug. 28, 1867. In March of 1900 he was married to Miss Clara Westcott. Six children were born to this union, all of whom with the widow are left to mourn his departure from this life, as follows: Clifford and Mrs. Katie Bonesteal, of Shellsburg, Marguerita of Waterloo, and George, Burdette, and Harry at home. Thirteen grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Methodist church at Mt. Auburn, conducted by Rev. Fisher, pastor of the Lutheran church at Waterloo, assisted b Rev. Ervay of the Methodist church at Mt. Auburn. Burial was in the Engledow cemetery northwest of Mt. Auburn.
