Description	:	Obituary John Gade Agena, oldest son of John Bernhard and Lena Walters Agena was born April 9, 1906, two miles west of Sterling. He was baptized in the same year by Rev. A. Firnhaber. He attended Christian Day school and was confirmed in 1920 by Rev. E. Deffner. He served on numerous church committees throughout his 71 years as an active member of this church. He attended Christian Day school and was confirmed in 1920 by Rev. E. Deffner. He served on numerous church committees throughout his 71 years as an active member of this church. He passed away at his home on Sunday, September 4, at the age of 71 years, four months and 23 days. Services were held on September 8 at the Immanuel Lutheran church with Rev. Karl Weinrich officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include two brothers, George of Adams and Edgar of Rapid City, S.D.; two sisters, Hannah Dorn of Beatrice and Mrs. William (Frieda) Wilken of Adams; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
