"Jack" Litzelman, 91, died November 17, 1988, in his home. Mr. Litzelman was born April 28, 1897, in Ulster, Pennsylvania, and was graduated from George Washington University, where he received his LLB degree in 1925 and his LLM degree in 1926. Mr. Litzelman was born April 28, 1897, in Ulster, Pennsylvania, and was graduated from George Washington University, where he received his LLB degree in 1925 and his LLM degree in 1926. While in college, he was member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. On April 28, 1938, he married Burl Anderson [sic, Andersen] in Washington, D.C. He was a member of the Bars of Washington, D.C. and Maryland and served on the advisory board of the FCC in Washington, D.C. from 1938 to 1941. In 1947 he moved to Vermillion and was a rancher, cattle feeder and farm manager. He was president of the National Livestock Feeders Association from 1960 to 1962. He served on many organizations. His wife [Burl Andersen Litzelman] preceded him in death August 5, 1981. Survivors include: one [adopted] son, David DeRouchey, Vermillion; three nephews and one niece. Funeral mass was held November 19 in St. Agnes Catholic Church, Vermillion. Burial was in Bluff View Cemetery, Vermillion, with military rites by th VFW Caly Post 3061 of Vermillion. Inverson-Siecke Funeral Home of Vermillion was in charge of arrangements.
