He passed away February 25, 1979, at the Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 78 years. April 19, 1921, the was united in marriage to Emma Wells at the St. Stephens Church in Lawrence. To this union two daughters, Hazel and Bernice, were born. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 27. at the Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson. Rev. Victor Schwarz officiated. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery.
