Description	:	John Hull was born 1791 in Rockbridge Co. Virginia. He married Amy Strickland (dob Dec. 1785) on 17 Jan 1811 also in Rockbridge. In 1815 they moved with their 3 small children to Greenfield, Madison township, Highland Co. Ohio. Amy Strickland Hull died 2 Sep 1840 in Greenfield, Ohio. John then married Margaret Amy Brown (dob 1804) in 1847. They later sold the family farm to son Joseph Hull and they moved with their children to Iowa, where both died. (The Hull Family farm is still owned by members of the Hull family.) The... Read More	John Hull was born 1791 in Rockbridge Co. Virginia. The grave must be for Amy Brown Hull, as she died in 1881. Why there is an S on the headstone is a good question. John dies in 1860 before his wife Amy Brown Hull. Creates some interesting questions if nothing else. John's grandfather Abraham Holl came the the United States in 1738 on the boat Alice and Robert.
