Description	:	John Grossart Buried Saturday - Funeral services for John Grossart, 78, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach with the Rev. Frank Freeman officiating and the McIntyre-Jacobsen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leon Berney, Lawrence Berney, Loyal Berney, Joe Grossart, Glen Grossart and Wm. Grossart Jr., all nephews. Paulman, Jr. John Grossart, son of Cecelia and John Grossart Sr., was born May 9, 1888 in Phillips County, Colorado. He passed away on January 26, 1967 at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 17 days. At the age of 3 months, his family moved to the Wolbach vicinity where he resided the rest of his life. July 29, 1908 he was united in marriage to Lena Berney. To this union two children were born, Nina and Victor. He engaged in farming south of Wolbach until the early 1940's when he and his wife moved into Wolbach. He was custodian in the Wolbach Schools for a number of years after which he was active in his sons business until the past two years. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters, and five brothers. He leaves to mourn his passing, his two children, Mrs. Nina Holm and Victor, both of Wolbach; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Bloom, Mrs. Edna Campbell, and Mrs. Jesse Vincent, all of Grand Island; two brothers, George of Hastings, and Lawrence of Sterling, Colo; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and other relatives.
