Description	:	At the age of eight years, John McCue moved with his family from Lebanon Co., PA to Lancaster Co., PA, where he grew to manhood, working on a farm in the summer and attending the district school during the winter. In the spring of 1865 he moved to Jones Co., IA, living there five years, then moved to Montgomery Co. and located on his present farm of 160 acres of land, now well improved.
