Description	:	Death of John Patterson John Patterson, son of Richard Patterson of Whitewater Township, died at the family residence on Friday, September 22. He was well and favorably known in this part of the County and was respected for his many manly virtues. The deceased had been ill for over a year suffering from an attack of lung disease caused by exposure to inclement weather while engaged in his duties on the farm. Read More	Death of John Patterson John Patterson, son of Richard Patterson of Whitewater Township, died at the family residence on Friday, September 22. He was well and favorably known in this part of the County and was respected for his many manly virtues. The deceased had been ill for over a year suffering from an attack of lung disease caused by exposure to inclement weather while engaged in his duties on the farm. He did not consider the first attack as a serious matter but soon the fell disease had mastered the skill of the best medical advisors. Sometimes he felt as if he had mastered it but it was only temporary, and at last overcome, has passed home. John was an excellent young man, honorable in all his dealings and respected by all with whom he came in contact. His death is a severe blow to his aged parents who mourn the death of their son. The funeral occurred on Sunday. The ashes of the deceased were escorted from the family residence to the Baptist church at Cascade by a large concourse of people. Rev. William Aitchison and Rev. J.
