Description	:	Brother Passes Away At Genoa---John Christensen, brother of Mrs. Christiana Johnson, passed away at his home at Genoa, August 2, 1932 at the age of 73. He was born in Denmark on August 16, 1859 and came to America with his parents in 1872. The family settled on a farm in the Lindsay neighborhood. He was united in marriage to Dora Mikelson on December 12, 1882 at Looking Glass and they made their home in that locality until 1910 when they retired and moved to Genoa where he spent the remainder of his life. Mr. and... Read More	Brother Passes Away At Genoa---John Christensen, brother of Mrs. Christiana Johnson, passed away at his home at Genoa, August 2, 1932 at the age of 73. He was born in Denmark on August 16, 1859 and came to America with his parents in 1872. The family settled on a farm in the Lindsay neighborhood. He was united in marriage to Dora Mikelson on December 12, 1882 at Looking Glass and they made their home in that locality until 1910 when they retired and moved to Genoa where he spent the remainder of his life. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen were the parents of ten children, three sons, Jacob, Albert and Crhis, preceeding him in death. He is survived by his wife, and seven children, Mrs. A. W. Swanson of Palmer, Mrs. C. N. Peterson of Boone, Mrs. F. H. Cudeford, Mrs. Ross Irish, Mrs. Fred Westbrook, Joe and Clarence Christensen of Genoa. Three sisters, Mrs. Christiana Johnson of Newman Grove, Mrs. Mary Edwards of St. Edwards and Mrs. F. H. Miller of Genoa also servivie. Funeral services were held at Bethany Friday afternoon, the deceased having been a life long member of that church. Rev. Ruch of Genoa, Rev. Weaver of Westhill and Rev.
