During the earlier part of his life in Colorado he was a miner. He was never married. August 14, 1914, he suffered a stroke of paralysis and since that time he made his home with his niece, Mrs. F. C. Andrews, in Denver. He remained a partial invalid. He is survived by a brother and two sisters: Lewis Voigtlander of Hillsdale, Ok.; Mrs. Minnie Wieden of Blue Valley, Ok.; Mrs. Maggie Luft of Lincoln, Neb., and many nieces and nephews. The body was accompanied from Denver to Geneva by Mrs. F. C. Andrews and her daughter Gweneth. The funeral took place from the home of J. J. Voigtlander in Geneva at 2:30 p. m. Monday, January 28, and was conducted by Rev. Franklin Perry of Lincoln. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. He led a consistent Christian life. (THE NEBRASKA SIGNAL, Jan. 31, 1924, P. 8 Col. 2)
