Hansen of Big Springs died last Thursday morning, January 27th. He had been in ill health for some time and entered The Children's Hospital at Denver, Colorado last August, where he received further treatment and observation until the time of his death. Hansen of Big Springs died last Thursday morning, January 27th. He had been in ill health for some time and entered The Children's Hospital at Denver, Colorado last August, where he received further treatment and observation until the time of his death. Services were held at the Zion Lutheran Church at Big Springs, Nebraska Saturday, January 29 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. G. H. Koslowske officiating. The body was brought to Wolbach, Nebr. Sunday and short services were held at the McIntyre-Jacobsen Funeral Home at 2:30 that afternoon. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery. John William Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hansen, was born May 3, 1947 at Julesburg, Colorado and departed from this life on January 27, 1955 at the age of seven years, eight months and 24 days. He was baptized in earliest infancy. Three sisters preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his departure besides his parents, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hansen, Sr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Johnston of Wolbach, and a host of other relatives and friends. (List of out-of-town attendees followed.)
