Description	:	Johnnie Dee Hollis (John) passed away November 13, 2008 at the Cooper Ridge Care Center. He was born February 25, 1926 at Bearden, Ark. He was 82 yrs. old. He is survived by his wife Betty Anne F. Hollis to whom he was married for 62 years. His son, John Hollis, and his daughter Loretta Jones. He had five grandsons, three great granddaughters, two great grandsons. He was an employee of PG&E for thirty-six years working as a powerhouse operator, working in most of their powerhouses here in Shasta and Trinity counties. He was 82 yrs. old. He is survived by his wife Betty Anne F. Hollis to whom he was married for 62 years. His son, John Hollis, and his daughter Loretta Jones. He was an employee of PG&E for thirty-six years working as a powerhouse operator, working in most of their powerhouses here in Shasta and Trinity counties. He served our country during World War II in the Navy from 1944-46 serving on the USS Alabama. He was a faithful member of the Beacon Missionary Baptist Church for 47 years and was ordained as a Deacon on October 27, 1962. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.
