Description	:	J. F. Priest, son of Reuben and Dosia Priest, was born in Morgan County. Indiana, Feburary 14, 1853 and when he was a small child came with his parents to Keokuk County, Iowa and settled five miles southwest of Sigourney, where he grew to man-hood. He was married to Polly McFall, April 15, 1875 and to this union was born three childern, two daughters and one son; Mrs Niela Wise fo Ottumwa, Mrs Adell Hasty and Charles of Sigourney. They resided in Mahaska and Wapello counties for several years returning to Sigourney in the fall of 1901 where they made their home... Read More	J. F. He leaves to mourn his departure besides his wife and three childern., one grandson and two brothers John and Samuel of Fremont and a large circle of friends, A good husband, a loveing father, a kind and gentel neighbor. with always a kind word for everyone., he will be sadly missed by the many friends he made with his kidly manner and pleasant disposition. Funeral Firday from the late residence conducted by Rev. F. N. Byram of Pella and interment in the West Cemetery.
