She was the daughter of J.F. and Polly McFall Priest and was born May 18, 1877, in Wapello County. She had been a resident of the county all her life and of Ottumwa for the past 17 years. She was the daughter of J.F. and Polly McFall Priest and was born May 18, 1877, in Wapello County. She had been a resident of the county all her life and of Ottumwa for the past 17 years. She was a member of the Agency Methodist Church, the Goodwill Sunday School Class, and the Highland Club. Her marriage to William H. Wise took place Dec. 6, 1898, in Dahlonega. He preceded her in death in 1960. She was also preceded in death by a brother. Survivors include one son, Russell Wise of Ottumwa; one grandson, Billie Dan Wise of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter; two foster daughters, Mrs. Lydia Pearson of McHenry, Ill., and Mrs. Marjorie Kinder of Shady Side, Ohio, and one sister, Mrs. Adella Hasty of Sigourney. The services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. (DST) at the Agency Methodist Church with the Rev. Edward Philgreen, pastor, assisted by the Rev. David Ash of the Willard Street Methodist Church in Ottumwa, officiating. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Reece Funeral Home to the church at 11 a.m. Saturday and closed at the beginning of the service.
