I give to her such part of my dwelling house as she may require. To my son John to have and control during the lifetime of my wife the real estate in Monroe Township, beginning at a stake in original Survey line, W from the SW corner to E. Tracy's farm, N to a stake near a branch of twelve mile creek then S to a stake in the line of lands of J. Brenner dec'd, S to a stake corner to John Wishard... 74 acres, requiring him to pay yearly as rent $250 or one third of all the products of said land. At the death of my wife, to my son John and his heirs said land provided he fulfill the following: pay for said land,...[details of what to do with land if John does not comply]. All the balance of my real estate I devise and bequeath to my son David upon the same terms as son John, except that he shall pay yearly to my wife, $195, or one third of all the products... The proceeds of all my property divided equally among all my children except hereafter provided, and if any be dead then their portion shall go to their heirs. Executors shall hold in charge part of proceeds of my property as the share of my daughter Catherine Leeds, paying the same to her as her necessities may require, at her death any remaining share to her heirs. Hare August 13, 1869 Will proved 18 Oct 1869 Although there is no record of Jonathon and Mary being buried in Mount Pisgah, they are certainly there. At least five of their children (Catherine, Jonathon, Mary, Jacob and Sarah) are there, and this cemetery was very close to their home. Their three children who died young, Elizabeth, Isaac and Ruby are probably also there. I do not know where David, who died in Columbus, Franklin Co, Ohio, is buried.
