Description	:	Joe Manuello, 94, of Sterling, died Aug. 8, 1992, at Devonshire Acres nursing home. Mr. Manuello was born to Joseph Nickola and Teresa M. (Ricco) Manuello in San Benigno, Italy on March 23, 1898. He accompanied his mother and three brothers on a ship across the Atlantic in 1909 to join his father and older brother, Tony, who had moved to the Sterling area in 1908. (Ricco) Manuello in San Benigno, Italy on March 23, 1898. He accompanied his mother and three brothers on a ship across the Atlantic in 1909 to join his father and older brother, Tony, who had moved to the Sterling area in 1908. When his father died in 1916, Mr. Manuello became the primary wage-earner for the family. He married Mary Ella Ferrero Jan. 3, 1920 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She died Nov. 5, 1983, after 63 years of marriage. Mr. Manuello was known for his love of horses. He also had cattle and farmed until his retirement. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He is survived by a brother, Frank and wife Lillie Man- uello of Sterling; a daughter-in-law, Jenevieve and her husband Tom Desoto of Sterling; eight grandchildren, Dowene and husband Glen Gregory of Olivenhain, Calif.; Tam mie and husband Kevin Malone of Vista, Calif., Vickie and husband Jim Cecil of Cope; Shellie and husband Bill Haragan of Elbert; Jim Kloberdanz of Golden; Gene Manuello, Carole and husband Kenneth Bretz and Richard and wife Patricia Kloberdanz, all of Sterling; 18 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons, a daughter, three brothers and a sister. Visitation and viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Vigil services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Chancy-Walters Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Blanco celebrant.
