Description	:	Joseph Hunt was born in Tauton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, on 30 March, 1790,son of Enoch Hunt VII and Sylvia Crossman. He was married in Massachusetts in 1813, but that wife (Esther Searjent Baylies)died 7 years into their marriage in the year 1820. There is no record of what happened to his 3 children, but possibly the grandparents Gustavus Adolphus Baylies and Tabitha Tisdale Baylies took them and reared them. Wiliam McMillian, Mr.Joseph Hunt, to Miss Eliza Hagerty, all of that borough.same evening refers to a Thursday Rev. McMillian was a licensed Presbyterian minister. In 1822 he resigned as president of Jefferson College in Canonsburg. ************************************************* The family lived in Cannonsburg for the 1830, 1850, and 1860 census. Can be found on Pg. 236 in 1830 index, Pg. 392 1850 index, and Pg. 139 for the 1860 index. 1840 census records unavailable to check them but presume that he lived there in 1840 also. I have been unable to find him in the 1880 census so he may have died prior to that date.
